The navigation menu on the left will connect you with an enriched list of contents for Mediapedia. This goes deeper than the book's contents spread. You will find all 245 terms and the 72 topics.
There are seven Chapters. Each has three sub-sections:
(1)Lexicon calls out each entry in the book. There are 72 "topics" that organize nearly 250 "terms". A single image has been selected to sample the many, many images (approaching 1,000) that fill each the full-color pages of the volume itself.
In the lexicon you will find a few entries not in the book. First, there are links to rich media including short videos and slide shows. Second (and over time), I will add updates to existing entries plus new entries.
(2) Resources will become much, much more comprehensive in this site than in the book. That is, if book readers and site visitors contribute fave books, magazines, and web sites.
(3) Projects has a pdf of the creative activity that ends is an open-ended project that ends each of the first six chapters. The Seventh chapter is all projects. I hope that users will submit info and a still image about projects they have discovered or invented.
